Hello there, I’m Lauren, I live in Colorado with my family. We love on old houses, especially the Chandler Farmhouse.
My husband Lukas and I met in college in Wisconsin. My best friend introduced us because she knew we both liked to take drives without destinations. I explored to find charming old buildings, explore small town shops, and feel the wind in my hair. He explored to jam out to music. We moved shortly after graduating and started our life together in Colorado. We were married at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park (familiar to anyone?) and had our first daughter Elliot in 2016. I got my payback after my mom said “I hope you have one just like you.” – She’s opinionated, smart and remembers every small detail of everything. Our second daughter June joined us in 2018, and she is the sweetest love bug around.
My family is my world, and our world was shook in 2020. What a terrible year for everyone, right? For us this terrible year included the worst tragedy we could imagine – I was pregnant with our third daughter and our hearts broke when we lost her at 38 weeks, exactly one week before I was scheduled to be induced. Her name is Ever Grace, and I want her grace to shine through me for the rest of my days.
We have a farmhouse and an actual 38 acre farm – all being built day by day. Our barnyard includes a jersey milk cow named Maple, her baby Koa, four rescue horses, Scotch, Prince, North & Stella, and many chickens for the colorful eggs.
I love to garden, bake, be creative (the potters wheel in my garage is calling my name), spend time on the porch drinking coffee and I’m lucky to say I also love my job.
